About Me

I received my Ph.D. in 2013 on experiments and kinetics modeling of the oxygen-17 anomaly in stratospheric ozone its photochemical transfer to carbon dioxide. I am continuing work in that vein with the Wilson group using a stochastic kinetics model to understand experiments investigating the mechanisms of heterogeneous oxidation of organic aerosol. Through this work, I hope to understand how the mechanisms of oxidation depend on the phase of the reactants, whether they are in the gas phase, at the surface, in a liquid, or in a semisolid. In support of this work, I am also conducting experiments investigating the rheological properties of aerosol components after oxidation.
